Wisma Putra should haul up EU ambassadors involved in a recent meeting with former Prime Minister Tun Mahathir, who is the leader of the opposition coalition.
This needs to be done fast and swift in order to register the host country’s displeasure at the attempt of these EU ambassadors to interfere into the domestic affairs of Malaysia. It must be impressed upon these ambassadors that they and their countries do not have the right to interfere into the affairs of another country, and that the leadership of Malaysia should be determined solely by the people of Malaysia.
Failure to do this or even slow to do it may invite more such act from other ambassadors of other countries.
